My how time flies! So cliche, but what can you do, it's so true. This is a little late since it already is May, but I had a good laugh:
Check out those blonde jerry curls! Let's take a longer trip down memory lane for good measure:
I'm really glad to have finished the school year. It was pretty tough, what with the hard classes and, ya know, havin' a baby. But I made it through ok, and now I've just got research work (which I may elaborate on at a later date). It's nice to have just one thing to focus on during the day, instead of 3 or 4 things. I can't wait to be done with school though. After the Master's is done, that's it for me!
Little Michael's chuggin' along just fine, too. Baby boy is so great! At four months, he's a biggin' - almost 16 lbs! He's so strong too, like a tiny viking!

He's started eating rice cereal already; I'm excited to start feeding him baby food and then eventually real food. Even though it's happened billions of times in history for every other baby, it's so neat to see little babies and kids learn and see things in the world for the first time. Each one's a new person with some great potential and it's so fun to see it develop! I just love babies and kids; I even play with other people's kids at the daycare when I go to drop off/pick up/visit Michael, haha.
Finally, it's almost Mother's Day! Woot! I guess I technically celebrated last year being newly pregnant, but this is my first Mother's Day with a cooing, chubby little person in my arms! It's awesome. And I've even gotten my first piece of take-home art!
